What we’re looking for:

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Project Leader who will accompany our AWS customer projects as well as our teams with both agile and classic project methods in a goal-oriented manner.

You have a passion for people and cloud technologies. You have a strong technology background to advise our clients and coach our teams. Furthermore, you can work in a team on multiple projects simultaneously and have relevant consulting and project management skills. You have worked as PM, PO, SM and as a project manager in a wide variety of projects and want to apply this to AWS Cloud projects?

copebit develops sustainable, automated solutions in the area of AWS Cloud and implements them in customer projects with an agile team setup. We have various AWS Cloud Architects and DevSecOps and are looking for reinforcement in the role of a Senior PO/SM – Project Manager.

Day to day:

• You are managing AWS as well as general cloud projects and driving them forward.
• You can also apply your AWS or DevSecOps engineering skills practically and are part of the DevSecOps team.
• As a Product Owner/Scrum Master, you play a key role in our agile team by not only actively contributing but also leading projects as a project manager, carrying a wide range of responsibilities together with your team.
• You will ensure that project deliverables are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality. Furthermore, you will be responsible for tracking and managing KPIs, budget, and overall profitability.
• Project and resource planning to ensure timely completion
• Evaluate the outcomes of the project as determined in the planning phase
• Stakeholder management and project organization. You will be responsible for presentations and updates, organizing meetings, and officially reporting on project status.
• You are the interface between the internal agile teams and customer project teams.
• Together with the test manager and the training and project team, you implement testing, training, and rollouts.
• You are familiar with common project tools like Jira, Confluence and Git.
• You plan, coach, and implement with copebit’s agile team’s customer projects (customer consulting, PoCs incl. implementation and migrations and Day2 operation).
• Coach and consult our clients with cloud technologies
• You work in a team, but can also work well independently in projects.

Need to have:

• AWS certifications (Associate), Certifications POPM SAfe, IPMA or PRINCE2 or HERMES
• You have many years of experience in leading projects and have agile as well as classic project management skills (SCRUM, SAFe, IPMA, PRINCE2, lean management, etc.).
• Knowledge and experience with cloud services and a strong interest in new and emerging technologies
• Expertise in Scrum/agile techniques such as epic creation, stories, estimation, prioritization, backlog grooming, MVP identification, sprint planning, and product roadmap planning
• Strong DevSecOps background as PO or Project Leader
• Several years of experience with software & infrastructure projects
• You are comfortable with a high degree of independence and can adapt quickly to change.
• Proven ability to think strategically about business, product and technical challenges and develop and communicate compelling value propositions
• Solid experience in automation, continuous integration and continuous delivery & deployment (SCM processes, CICD tools, deployment and configuration management tools)
• You demonstrate a high level of customer focus.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills
• You will bring the joy and enthusiasm to co-create the AWS journey with our customers.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical fields (or equivalent practical experience)
